The program

Stu McLaren's companies, Searchie Inc. (Membership.io) and North Results Inc (“we” on this page), send recurring automated marketing text messages about our programs and offers to people who opt in.

Who sends them

Searchie Inc. (Membership.io) and North Results Inc, both at 155 Lynden Rd Unit 5B, Brantford, ON N3R 8A7, Canada. Texts come from our registered North Results number and name the sender. Questions: help@membership.io.

How you sign up

The opt-in is on the free Niche Check at idea.membershipworkshop.com. Run a niche scan, and the “your report is ready” step shows an optional mobile number field. Once you enter a number, an unticked checkbox appears with the terms below it. We only text you if you enter a US or Canadian mobile number (outside Quebec) and tick the box yourself. You never need to, to get your report. This is exactly what it says in the US:

Stopping texts

Reply STOP to any message (or QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE), or tell us any other way, including by emailing help@membership.io. You'll get one text confirming you're unsubscribed, and no more marketing texts after that. If you opted out before and want texts again, text START to the number.

Consent is not a condition of purchase

You never have to agree to texts to buy anything.

Who can sign up

US and Canadian mobile numbers only. The program isn't available in Quebec at this time.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Service providers that deliver messages for us (such as our SMS platform) may use your number only for that purpose.

We keep a record of your consent (the wording shown, date and time, IP address, country, browser, page and email) while you're subscribed and for 5 years after your last message or opt-out, and we keep opt-out requests permanently so we never text you again. Each company's privacy policy covers its own texts: the Membership.io Privacy Policy and the North Results Privacy Policy.
